NSA Top Secret Clearance Required

Only those with existing NSA Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph will be considered.

(Salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Modernize a customer-focused web-based application, M.E.T.R.I.C.S system, as part of an overall mission improvement program. The candidate will be part of a three-person development team that will modernize the existing M.E.T.R.I.C.S system, currently built in Perl. The current team uses agile application development in support of Mission Assurance. The mission will be to modernize the back end in Java along with the front end look and feel.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active NSA Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Able to create and work in GUIs. Must know Perl (Python or C++ will be accepted in place of Perl since the languages are very similar) and JavaScript.
• Understanding of back and front end development.
• A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in software engineering on projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, four additional years of relevant software engineering experience can substitute for the degree.
