Location:
Duties:
- Represent clients throughout all phases of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice on complex matters
- Prepare for and represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Collaborate with partners and other associates to address legal challenges
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and support
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Hawaii State Bar
- 2-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in civil cases
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Commitment to providing outstanding client service and upholding the highest ethical standards
- Expected billable hours: 1,650 (flexibility may be considered for the right candidate)
