The role would be for configuring and supporting ServiceNow ITOM / ITAM (HAM / SAM) applications and maintaining and supporting the implementation. This person will work very closely with the IT Process Architect, customer Analysts, IT Architect, IT support teams, and other technical teams to ensure that business needs around the implementation of ITOM / ITAM Modules of ServiceNow are met.
The general scope of the work for this position is as follows:
- Experience of ITOM suite (CMDB / Discovery) within ServiceNow
- Experience of ITAM suite (HAM / SAM) within ServiceNow
- Complete understanding & hands-on expertise of CMDB data model with experience in extending CMDB data model for requirements.
- Understands technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow and understands the workflow engines.
- Uses Mid server, web services, email, and other relevant technology to integrate tools with ServiceNow.
- Define and implement ITOM / ITAM and CMDB best practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning with industry standards and ITIL processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes/best practices for ITOM/CMDB/CSDM.
- Experience in designing/developing ServiceNow Tables/Fields/Forms/Access Controls/Business Rules/ACLs/Client Scripts/UI Policies/UI Macros/UI Scripts/Catalog Forms, etc.
Additional Qualifications:
- CIS-ITSM or CIS-Discovery or CIS – HAM Pro certification.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify CMDB requirements and implement necessary changes.
