We’re hiring someone to join our Product & Engineering team to build products that power our communities and help founders gain momentum with their startups. If you love the idea of helping more people start great companies using your software this might be the role for you.

Our mission is to help more people build the best startups. We create products and communities that support that mission.

This role is intensively in-person. We work out of the company office/house in Mission/Noe Valley — often at odd hours and sometimes on the weekend. We pay an additional monthly stipend for teammates who live <15 minute walk from the office.

You will be part of a small ambitious team building our linchpin product: Community Platform. The community platform is how founders find collaborators across cohorts, stay on track, get unblocked, and discover perks and interesting discussions.

You will:

• Lead full-stack development of existing products and features
• Design and launch new product experiments
• Enhance and maintain our tech infrastructure
• Optimize team processes and workflows
• Collaborate closely with our team and community members

This role is a good fit if you:

• Have a track record of making things happen fast.
• Thrive on autonomy in both problem selection and solution design
• Love talking to users and analyzing data to drive decisions
• Have a good product and design sense
• Have strong knowledge of modern web and mobile technologies and best practices
• Have hands-on experience with emerging AI/ML developments
• Backend - TypeScript, Express.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Elastic Search
• Frontend - TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL

All roles at our company are contract-to-hire for 90 days. After that, if all parties are in agreement, the position becomes full-time (full-time compensation is agreed upon before the start of the contract-to-hire period).
