Location
Duties
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including cannabis law disputes, regulatory compliance issues, licensing challenges, and intellectual property litigation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to business development, including client outreach, marketing efforts, and networking events.
- Stay updated on cannabis law developments and related areas of law.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the CO state bar (or relevant jurisdiction) and in good standing.
- Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in business development and maintaining client relationships is a plus.
Education
