Location

Duties

1. Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including cannabis law disputes, regulatory compliance issues, licensing challenges, and intellectual property litigation.
2. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
3. Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
4. Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies.
5. Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation risks and opportunities.
6. Contribute to business development, including client outreach, marketing efforts, and networking events.
7. Stay updated on cannabis law developments and related areas of law.

Requirements

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the CO state bar (or relevant jurisdiction) and in good standing.
3. Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
4. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
5. Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.
6. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Experience in business development and maintaining client relationships is a plus.
