Job Purpose:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and products meet the highest quality and safety standards in a Welding/Fabrication Job Shop.

Tasks:

1. Develop and implement quality and safety programs for welding processes
2. Ensure compliance with AISC standards and other relevant regulations
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
4. Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality and safety issues
5. Train and educate employees on quality and safety standards and procedures
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
7. Manage and maintain quality and safety documentation and records
8. Lead investigations into quality and safety incidents and develop and implement corrective actions

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of quality-related experience required.
3. Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience required.
4. Previous manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

Requirements:

1. Experience in manufacturing, steel fabrications, quality, and safety management
2. Knowledge of AISC standards and other relevant regulations
3. Strong leadership and communication skills
4. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
