Our Program Management group is seeking a Project Engineer to join our capital projects team for a large healthcare client in Minneapolis, MN. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. As a Project Engineer you’ll have an opportunity to work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design-field staff. You will participate in meetings and follow projects from commencement of construction to completion. You’ll also provide support to the Project team by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, change order estimates/negotiations, tracking submittals, RFIs, and support resolution of field issues.

Here's what you'll need

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  2. Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer in an Architectural, Engineering or Construction organization
  3. Experience with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project)
  5. Experience working with scheduling software
  6. Willing and able to work onsite with the project team at the client’s location Monday - Friday

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  1. U.S. healthcare facility or other medical facility construction experience
  2. Experience in capital project improvement and development program management
  3. Some level of experience using industry Project Management Control Systems (PMCS), such as eBuilder, Unifier, Project Sight (Formerly Prolog), Procore, etc.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
