HockeyStack is the Command Center for B2B revenue teams. It integrates with your CRM, marketing automation tools, ad platforms and data warehouse to show the ideal customer journey. HockeyStack customers use this data to measure channel performance, launch cost-efficient campaigns, and prioritize the right accounts.
We have a very technical team of builders and our CTO likes coding. What we lack is someone to handle the people and processes side of things as the team grows over 15 engineers. This doesn't mean that's all you would do, but it is a significant part of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring the smartest people and attracting talent
- Managing 1:1s and motivation
- Owning the total output of engineering and finding ways to increase efficiency
- Knowing where each engineering initiative is and pushing things forwards
- Help reviewing code or jump into the codebase if necessary
- Did I say hiring?
Qualifications:
- Need to have built teams from scratch somewhere
- Need some kind of startup experience (either a founder themselves or early employee at somewhere good)
- Need to have been managing people or being Head+ for at least 2 years or so
- No need to have 20+ years of experience. There are people that move up the ladder quickly
- But at least 7-8 years of experience in engineering orgs is expected
