Job Title: Analytics Engineer

W2 Contract

As an Analytics Engineer for the Customer Experience (CX) team, you will be a part of a global team that unlocks the power of customer feedback and insights to drive business improvements. Your background and experience in creating data pipelines and insightful self-service dashboards will provide visibility into the health of our key business metrics, thereby enabling us to deliver insights that enhance customer experiences. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of data governance policies, data quality standards, and data visualization best practices, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and actionability of our data assets.

We're seeking an Analytics Engineer with a strong technical background and functional expertise in customer experience insights, specifically in customer support and operations. To excel in this role, you'll need to be passionate about data, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess excellent organizational and presentation skills, be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders and demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5+

Must have Skills:

  1. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python programming language is essential for this role, including experience with popular libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  2. Data Engineering Experience: Experience with building data pipelines and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SQL and platforms like Apache Airflow or AWS Glue is a must-have skill.
  3. Business Acumen: Understanding of customer experience principles and metrics, including ability to analyze and interpret customer feedback and behavioral data, is crucial for success in this role.
  4. Data Analysis and Visualization: Experience working with metrics and creating interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or others, along with proven communication and presentation skills to deliver actionable insights, is essential for this role.

Nice to have Skills:

  1. Digital Analytics Tools: Familiarity with digital analytics tools like Google or Adobe Analytics can be an asset in this role, allowing for more effective analysis of customer behavior and preferences.
  2. Agile Development Methodologies: Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git can be advantageous in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing code repositories.
  3. Customer Support Software: Experience with customer support software like Salesforce can be beneficial in understanding the CX and VoC space, and leveraging data to inform business decisions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
