Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of the Amazon Connect environment, including integrations with other systems such as CRM, IVR, and workforce management solutions. Ensure a scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architecture for the migration from Genesys to Amazon Connect.
- Migration Strategy & Planning: Develop a comprehensive migration plan for moving from Genesys to Amazon Connect, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Define key milestones, deliverables, and timelines, and ensure the execution of the plan.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership throughout the migration project. Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define system requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of the business while adhering to industry best practices.
- Cloud Integration: Design and implement seamless integrations between Amazon Connect and existing on-premise and cloud-based systems, including CRM, ERP, and other third-party applications. Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SNS, AWS Connect Streams, and AWS SDKs for creating a highly automated and integrated solution.
- Infrastructure & Security: Oversee the architecture of the underlying cloud infrastructure, ensuring that security, data protection, and compliance requirements are met. Implement best practices for cloud security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the Amazon Connect platform, ensuring the solution meets performance and scalability requirements as the business grows. Address any issues related to latency, system downtime, or inefficiencies.
- Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for the architecture, migration processes, and operational guidelines. Lead knowledge transfer sessions to ensure the internal teams can manage and maintain the new system post-migration.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, contact center solutions, and AWS services. Advocate for continuous improvements and the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance system performance and business value.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on Amazon Connect and AWS cloud services.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex cloud-based architectures for large-scale systems and migrations.
- Strong experience in Genesys and Amazon Connect migration projects, with a deep understanding of both platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
- Certification in Genesys Cloud or related contact center technologies is a plus.
