Overview This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
Remote with ability to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, Phoenix, Arizona or Morristown, New Jersey, on an as needed basis.
This position is responsible for directing, leading, and providing strategic direction that guides the work related to Customer and internal central access and identity services and programs across the enterprise, while ensuring alignment with the information security and technology architecture. Communicates effectively with senior leadership about information security issues and implications to the enterprise. Ensures the information security program aligns with and supports overall corporate business strategy and risk appetite. Responsible for directing a team of associates that are responsible for the operations and engineering support for both employee and customer identity and access management.
Responsibilities - Business Strategy - Provides leadership and direction for planning, developing, and implementing central access provisioning, enterprise identity directory services program, and supporting processes. Ensures the product roadmap and the strategic and lifecycle planning process for IAM. Drives continuous improvement of program capabilities by designing and implementing new security products, services, technologies and leading in-house development and major upgrades as necessary.
- Program Oversight - Responsible for developing the information access and management security program to appropriately manage security-related and regulatory risks. Manages system capacity and availability as part of normal production and continuous monitoring activities. Ensures teams provide effective tier four level support as needed.
- Collaboration & Partnerships - Establishes and maintains partnerships with key vendors, industry peers, government agencies, and security research communities to keep informed about the latest security trends, threats, and security initiatives. Partners with security architecture to select, negotiate with, and implement new vendor systems/solutions in IAM technology. Builds security awareness among internal business communities, the public, and information technology teams.
- Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to program policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience in Security & Identity management
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of experience in Security & Identity management
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Preferred Area of Experience: Information Security, MIS, Computer Science/Engineering
License or Certification Type: CISSP, CISM, GSEC, OCSP

- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships at multiple levels within the organization and externally, including vendors and regulators,

- Previous experience managing and coaching both people and processes
