Base pay range
$33.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct geospatial analysis to identify and verify missing pole assets and pole identification.
- Utilize tools such as ArcGIS Online, Map3D, Google Earth, and Lidar to validate pole asset locations.
- Cross-check and update asset records in various Records Management Systems, including SAP, cGIS, and Circuit Mapping.
- Analyze field-captured photographic evidence to extract and document critical asset information.
- Compile research findings and field data to support updates and corrections in the System of Record.
- Review and analyze work order documentation to identify key details and ensure accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies between digital records and actual field conditions, providing recommendations for corrections and data integrity improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience using Microsoft Excel functions, including VLOOKUP and IF statements.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate project coordination.
- Strong spatial analysis skills, including map reading, direction interpretation, and multi-source data evaluation.
- At least five years of experience in problem identification, root cause analysis, solution assessment, and issue tracking.
- Experience in technical writing, process documentation, and workflow mapping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, with a focus on GIS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience working with GIS and mapping applications such as AutoCAD Map 3D, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, or ESRI.
- Background in the public utility sector with operational experience.
- Familiarity with Records Management Systems like SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, and SAS.
- Proficiency in using business applications to develop and edit reports, graphs, and presentations.
