What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines
2. Enhance data models and provide subject matter expertise in data acquisition and consumption pipelines
3. Design best practices, reusable code, libraries, and frameworks for cloud-based data warehousing and ETL
4. Utilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases
5. Drive data-driven decision-making and enhance data accessibility throughout the organization

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing data engineering solutions using Azure cloud offerings
2. In-depth understanding and experience in data engineering and data warehousing best practices
3. Hands-on development experience with Relational DBs and SQL optimization
4. Experience designing and building data pipelines using APIs and Streaming ingestion methods
5. Solid understanding of DevSecOps, Git integration, and Code deployment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Familiarity with Modern Data Platforms technologies
2. Knowledge in Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Kafka, and Azure Stream Analytics
3. Experience with Informatica - IICS task flows development and maintenance
4. Data bricks, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, and/or other cloud certifications
