What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Enhance data models and provide subject matter expertise in data acquisition and consumption pipelines
- Utilize Azure, Databricks, and Confluent for data engineering solutions
- Design best practices, reusable code, and frameworks for cloud-based data warehousing and ETL
- Collaborate with business objectives to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance data accessibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud offerings
- In-depth understanding of data engineering and data warehousing best practices
- Proficiency in Relational DBs, SQL, and optimization of SSIS packages
- Experience with data pipelines using APIs, BigQuery, and Spark
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps, Git integration, and Code deployment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Modern Data Platforms technologies
- Knowledge in Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Kafka, and Azure Stream Analytics
- Experience with Informatica - IICS task flows development and maintenance
- Data bricks, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, and/or other cloud certifications
