You will have the responsibility for the day-to-day implementation and administration of security for a 24x7 SAP production environment and providing access security functions for UNIX, SQL, Oracle and LAN. This is accomplished by designing and implementing new security roles to support business requirements. This function is also responsible for monitoring compliance with IT policies and procedures in SAP, UNIX, SQL, Oracle and LAN environments and monitoring segregation of duties risks.
Essential Functions
- Comply with all internal and regulated controls.
- Implement security policies and procedures for SAP environment.
- Create and maintain users for Oracle, SQL, Unix and LAN.
- Create and maintain roles in SailPoint IIQ.
- Maintain and assign pre-authorized user accounts across all SAP instances and clients including passwords, pre-defined roles and profiles, and activity groups.
- Facilitate security requirements between SAP user community, configuration and programming teams, and SAP R/3 Security Administration.
- Provide support and assistance during internal and external audits.
- Research, evaluate and implement new security products, procedures and methods.
- Investigate misuse of computer resources.
- Develop and administer information security rules and authorizations.
- Provide business continuance support.
- Perform SOX testing on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Provide 24-hour on-call support, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Education Description
- A bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in computer engineering, information technology, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience is preferred, but relevant experience can be substituted.
Experience
- Requires a minimum of one to two years relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of system maintenance, upgrades, backups, and installations.
- Understanding of Azure MFA requirements.
- Must have a Unix and Windows background.
