Position Description:
Process payroll for multiple worksites and provide clients with a superior level of customer service in a high-volume environment.
This is a hybrid position, commuting to the Melville office 3 days per week.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and Review Client Payroll Data
  2. Enter/Update payroll data in system for multiple client companies
  3. Process Payroll & Reports
  4. Possess knowledge and stay current on Payroll Compliance
  5. Liaise with Support personnel to ensure Payroll is shipped to clients timely
  6. Customer Service
  7. Assist Client Company Owners/Managers with any payroll related questions
  8. Assist employees with questions/problems as it may relate to their pay
  9. Must be knowledgeable and personable
  10. Enter/Update employee data in payroll system
  11. Employee information (i.e. names, addresses, job titles, etc)
  12. Time Off Accruals (i.e. vacation pay, sick pay, personal pay, etc.)
  13. Calculate Garnishments
  14. Receive and Review Termination Reports
  15. Enter/Update client data in payroll system
  16. Enter Client Information including Workers Comp Codes and processes
  17. Enter Client Time Off Accruals
  18. Create Processing Schedules
  19. Add/Update Departments and Divisions as needed

Qualifications:

  1. At least 3 years prior work experience with: Payroll Service Company OR
  2. Have processed payroll in a large company environment with 500 employees or more.
  3. FPC is recommended or obtained
  4. Strong computer skills however will train on our Payroll System
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills in support of Customer Service
  6. Applicant must have strong understanding of Payroll Regulations

Compensation:
$60,000-$75,000
