We are looking for a dynamic technical leader for the integral role of Vice President of Engineering, Agent and Consumer Experience, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer of RealSure. This role is 100% remote, requiring 10-20% travel (2-4 days a month) for strategic meetings and offsites.
Summary:
The Vice President of Engineering, Agent and Customer Experience is an entrepreneurial, growth-minded leader responsible for building and supporting customer and agent experiences that will change the future of residential real estate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with agent and consumer product teams to develop a vision and strategy for consumer and agent-facing experiences.
- Build a high-performing technical team to deliver RealSure’s digital vision and goals.
- Research industry trends and capitalize on opportunities.
- Show visionary thinking and demonstrate expert knowledge to solve complex issues.
- Track record of talent development and building high-performing technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present to executive leadership.
- Agile leadership of both homegrown and third-party integration teams.
- Ability to partner with offshore technical resources.
- Ability to analyze homegrown solutions and develop a point of view on when to build vs buy.
- Experience with CRM and CMS solutions.
- Collaborate with executive, product management, service delivery, and marketing teams to support company-wide strategies.
- Work closely with the CEO and CTO to establish and maintain a diverse and productive environment.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in leading technical teams with expertise in .NET core, Java, C#, and Node.js.
- Experience in open-source tools such as GraphQL and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and Grafana.
- Experience with third-party integration tools like Okta and Zendesk.
- Experience building a tech stack based on customer and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5 years of experience in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability and experience with recruiting, motivating, and leading high-performing technical talent.
- Deep understanding of agile development and product development principles.
- Proven history of successfully managing multiple technical efforts.
- Strong collaboration skills and respect for product teams.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity and respond well to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels and strong listening skills.
