VP at Storm 2 / Connecting FinTech Talent

Our client is a sports betting company, backed by top investors. They have had a $6M seed round recently and are looking to grow! As an early frontend engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user-facing side of our web and mobile applications. Your work will directly impact the experience of thousands of users as we scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize user applications with React and React Native
• Identify and resolve performance and compatibility issues across platforms
• Balance functional and aesthetic design to create a seamless UX
• Take ownership of key UI components to enhance engagement and usability
• Oversee the full mobile application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing support.
• Develop high-quality, fully functional mobile applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Implement unit and UI testing to ensure application stability and performance.
• Identify and resolve issues to enhance overall app functionality and efficiency.
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces to improve the overall experience.
• Explore and recommend innovative mobile technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging tools, and development methodologies.
• Address bugs promptly and optimize performance to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Suggest improvements and enhancements to elevate the application experience.

Qualifications:
