Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Scientist to fill an open position with one of our clients. This is a unique opportunity to work on a small, highly collaborative data science team focused on R&D projects. The ideal candidate will have strong business communication skills to effectively convey insights to stakeholders. This role requires expertise in machine learning operations, data visualization, and cloud-based ML pipelines, with a strong preference for Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy ML Ops pipelines in Azure (or other cloud platforms).
• Perform time series forecasting, pattern recognition, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Support AI and ML model development for uncertainty quantification and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a PhD; may consider 10+ years with a Bachelor’s degree if highly advanced.
• Proficient in Python, ML Ops, Git for version control, and Power BI for data visualization.
• Strong experience with data ingestion, data lakes, and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (AWS considered but Azure preferred).
• Demonstrates a self-learning mindset, adaptability, and effective collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must provide references and, if available, GitHub or other relevant work samples.
