Position Overview

The Head of Digital Marketing will lead the digital transformation efforts at Grifols Plasma. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of digital strategies that align with business goals, enhance customer engagement, and drive growth. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader with a passion for innovation and a proven track record in digital marketing and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all digital touchpoints across channels, including CRM, social media, web/app, ensuring coherence and impact.
  2. Manage digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing) to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion.
  3. Understand and enhance business metrics through the attribution model.
  4. Manage third-party providers and agencies.
  5. Lead a team of digital specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate digital marketing efforts into the broader organizational strategy.
  7. Create and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  8. Report to senior management on digital performance, KPIs, and the impact of digital initiatives on business growth.
  9. Lead the creation of engaging, data-driven content to enhance the digital presence and support customer engagement.
  10. Ensure all digital initiatives enhance the donor journey, improving satisfaction and retention through personalized experiences.
  11. Drive continuous improvement in digital tools to meet business requirements and scale as the company grows.
  12. Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of digital systems.
  13. Stay up-to-date with digital innovations such as AI/ML to improve donor insights and experiences.
  14. Lead digital innovation initiatives to implement cutting-edge technologies and platforms.
  15. Develop and nurture a high-performing digital team through coaching, training, and professional development.
  16. Drive cultural change within the organization, fostering a digital-first mindset.
  17. Oversee digital risk management, ensuring data privacy, cybersecurity compliance, and reputation management.

Education & Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Digital Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred: Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas, professional experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, and experience in engaging and managing third-party providers.

10 years of experience in Digital Transformation & Innovation, ideally in both marketing and business. Experience in managing paid media campaigns, interdisciplinary teams, and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce). Previous experience in customer experience platforms and donor loyalty programs.
