Job Title: Supply Planning Specialist
Job Description
Ensure cost-effective management of supply/production planning and co-manufacturing/co-packing requirements planning functions.
Provide supply plans that optimize supply, service, and inventory while working with production constraints and total delivered cost impact.
Support short-term and long-term capacity plans in close conjunction with factories to identify and resolve potential capacity issues early.
Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.
Balance supply needs across all available sourcing locations (factory, co-manufacturer).
Identify and analyze build stock needs and timing based on production availability and strategic decisions, and communicate to appropriate stakeholders.
Facilitate frequent communication with the cross-functional team on product availability and critical items, highlighting risks of customer shortages, back in stock projections, root cause of the issue, and preventative actions to avoid future reoccurrence.
Present supply outlook (days on hand, service levels, projected future working capital, factory performance) to NHS leadership and other stakeholders.
Gather all necessary inputs from other operational functions that impact the supply outlook.
Hard Skills
+ Troubleshoot and resolve data issues
+ Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes
+ Knowledge and experience with SAP, Power Bi and/or Business Intelligence
+ Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency in advanced functionality and modeling; Excel expertise, i.e., writing macros
+ Quantitative skills with the ability to develop and use metrics/graphs to lead root-cause analysis activities
Soft Skills
+ Written, verbal, and listening skills
+ Ability to effectively lead, take direction, and work within a team representing diverse business functions
