Job Description
Software Engineer
Salary: Up to $65/hr.
Location: Fort Worth, TX (fully on-site)
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for permanent employment
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in related field required
- 5+ years of experience of C++ and Python
- Linux-based software development experience.
- Experience in object oriented software development
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Responsibilities: - Full lifecycle development of various infrastructure software product capabilities
- Software/hardware integration and system troubleshooting
- Agile Product Development Methodologies
- Daily collaboration and communication
- Opportunities to learn from system/software architects as well as mentor more junior engineers
- Gain working knowledge of team CI/CD infrastructure and tool suite
- Participate in development of team-level work estimates to support proposals and sprint/PI-level team commitments
