Software Engineer

Salary: Up to $65/hr.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for permanent employment

Summary: C++ developers to work on a surge task as we develop the codebase for the Next Generation F-16 mission computer. The development is in C++ on a Linux based platform.

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of professional experience with C++ 11/14
• 2+ years experience using Object Oriented Programming
• Experience using Unix/Linux
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

• Refactoring and redeveloping legacy code
• Development of new code
• Integrating the code into our test platform
• Full lifecycle development of various infrastructure software product capabilities
• Software/hardware integration and system troubleshooting
• Agile Product Development Methodologies
• Daily collaboration and communication
• Opportunities to learn from system/software architects as well as mentor more junior engineers
• Gain working knowledge of team CI/CD infrastructure and tool suite
• Participate in development of team-level work estimates to support proposals and sprint/PI-level team commitments
