Overview:

Job Title: Systems Administrator (SIPR)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks associated with designing, installing, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, upgrading, patching, securing, and managing the SIPRNet IT systems.
  • Work with other organizations/agencies as necessary to resolve issues outside of LAAFB control.
  • Support the Systems team, manage IT assets, track equipment lifecycle, advise on projects, perform site visits, and provide technical solutions.
  • Handle systems administration aspects of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet, including enterprise applications, physical/virtual infrastructure, SANS, DNS, Active Directory, servers, data storage systems, and back-up power systems.
  • Develop, implement, document, and maintain a standardized maintenance program for all contractor-supported government equipment based on DoD and AF guidance, industry standards, OEM service manuals, AF Technical Orders, and established local procedures.
  • Support projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources while being a liaison among customers and employees.
  • Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management, and facilitate communications.
  • Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Provide Architecture and Management Support services, including site surveys, inspections, design and review assistance, requirements development, path profiles and studies, and coverage surveys.
  • Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique systems or equipment problems.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Work is performed full-time on site in Los Angeles, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and contract requirements.
  • Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or VMWare: VCTA-DCV or equivalent certification or higher or Microsoft: MCSA or equivalent certification or higher or Linux: Linux+ or equivalent or higher level certifications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science OR 5 years of relevant experience.
