TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (hybrid, on-site Tuesday – Thursday)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months

Data Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is efficiently moved and transformed across different systems.
2. Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
3. Work with APIs and data connectors to ingest data from various platforms and systems.
4. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and analytics workflows.

Data Dashboard:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and design user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate data insights.
2. Connect dashboards to various data sources, ensuring that the data is accurately represented and up-to-date.
3. Optimize dashboard performance by reducing query load times and ensuring quick data retrieval.

Data Engineer Requirements:

1. Python
2. PySpark
3. SQL
4. Scala
5. Tableau
6. Education: Prefer MS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics Engineering, or Operation Research.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50 to $57.12 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
