Job Description

Provide automated and manual functional testing of our most highly visibility products. Help design test plans for new projects and ensure that testing procedures are consistently followed. Use tools to report issues and consistently track status. Bring an ample degree of industry knowledge to your position, which will help you in implementing a testing methodology maximized to the needs of the group. Excellent communicator.


Responsibilities:

  1. Automated and manual functional testing of new products/product features as well as automated regression testing of existing functionality.
  2. Writing, reviewing, and updating product test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and scenarios.
  3. All tiers of testing manual, automated, front-end, and back-end.
  4. Execution of test plans, automated test scripts, and test cases to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications, and/or client requirements.
  5. Reporting bugs and tracking status through a resolution system (e.g., Jira and Confluence).
  6. Build and maintain test tools and test applications to perform automated functional and regression testing.
  7. Work closely with development, product development, and operations departments to ensure quality and timely services are delivered to clients.
  8. Review system requirements and business processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with QA testing or related functions (required).
  2. Strong hands-on QA experience in User Interface/GUI-based systems (required).
  3. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress automation frameworks, scripting, and tools (required).
  4. Experience with automated testing tools (required).
  5. Experience with LINUX command-line environments (preferred).
  6. Experience with Java and JavaScript programming (preferred).
  7. Degree in Computer Science or Information Management (preferred).
  8. Experience and knowledge with the Financial Services industry (preferred).
  9. Experience with financial industry messaging protocols (e.g., FIX) (preferred).

RATE RANGE: 82.50-87.50 /HR (negotiation expected)
