This position will provide legal and administrative support to multiple attorneys within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, and estate planning documents.
- Perform thorough proofreading and document review.
- Maintain organized client files and records.
- Assist with time entry and expense reimbursements using Aderant.
- Support the client billing process, including proofreading, editing, and mailing invoices.
- Collaborate with other staff and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal assistant secretary experience, preferably with exposure to Personal Succession/Estate Planning or Probate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF software (Kofax).
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and teamwork mindset.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
