Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Data Entry/Inventory Control Clerk in Bellport, NY 11713

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite Bellport, NY 11713

Schedule: 9am-5:30pm

Pay rate : $20-$25.71/hr

Responsibilities:

• Accurate Data Entry: Ensure precise entry of all inventory transactions in MAS 500.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service teams.
• Inventory & Financial Knowledge: Understand product structure, GL structure, and financial impact of transactions.
• Increased Workload: Manage additional 70+ hours of work due to inventory transition to CDCII on OH.
• Operational Impact: Address delays in customer service levels caused by the increased workload.
• Specialized Expertise Required: Requires background in Inventory Control and Production Planning in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent
• APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification
• 2+ years of experience in Production inventory and Production planning in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
