Our client, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have employment law experience on the defense side and be comfortable managing litigation tasks independently.


This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced litigation paralegal looking to join a dynamic and collaborative team. Position Overview:

  • Support attorneys by managing no more than two cases at a time, in addition to handling ad hoc assignments distributed among all paralegals
  • Obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, and identify relevant records
  • Conduct litigation, criminal, and civil background checks and obtain properly authenticated records
  • Assist in preparing motions for summary judgment, including verifying deposition citations, assembling exhibits, and creating appendices
  • Prepare, review, and redact documents for production, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Support trial preparation by managing exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, and evidentiary matters, as well as attending witness prep meetings and assisting at trial
  • Conduct online legal research and utilize firm electronic resources effectively
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy and submit them for processing


Core Qualifications:

Candidates must meet a minimum of one of the following qualifications:

  • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • Certificate or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution requiring at least 24 semester units in law-related courses
  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in any subject plus at least one year of law-related experience under the supervision of a licensed California attorney (with a written declaration of qualification)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Employment law experience on the defense side
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management
  • Proficiency in legal research, document management, and trial preparation


Pay:

  • $100,000 - $120,000 /year


Location:

  • HYBRID
  • Los Angeles, CA ~or~ Woodland Hills, CA


Schedule:

Monday - Friday

40 hours /week

Overtime offered when available
