Title: Assembly Operator
Pay Rate: $16/hr to $18/hr

Our client is seeking an Assembly Operator that will work as part of a larger team to assemble high-tech components and package the final assembled product for customer delivery. Once you join the team, you will perform a wide variety of tasks within the production line and in a warehouse setting. You will have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills and expand your career in smart manufacturing.
We have positions available for both entry-level and experienced candidates. Overtime is available on a voluntary basis. Available shifts:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manually pick and place small components onto specified areas
- Operate tools such as, but not limited to; drills, mono-bolt guns, and wrenches during the assembly process
- Read electrical blueprints and install components such as relays, controls and other types of controllers on electrical panels; Read all SOP and guidelines as they pertain to the job duties
- Receive parts kit from inventory; Examine parts for defects such as pinholes or chips
- Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time
- Willingness to move to a variety of workstations and perform a multitude of tasks
- Follow policies and instructions that pertain to quality work standards and production quality
- Promote safety and apply 5s principles; clean, dust, sweep, mop, tape, and organize your work area
- Must be able to work well in a team setting and be willing to collaborate with others as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred; candidates with prior experience without the preferred education will be considered.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to read tape measure, work instructions, and other documents written in English
- Must follow safety protocols and wear PPE properly
Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs; must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours.
