Job Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain Automated Test Scripts and Frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
2. Develop robust testing strategies for both back-end and front-end components of our applications.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide testing insights throughout the development lifecycle.
4. Execute functional, regression, and performance testing to identify software defects and ensure optimal functionality.
5. Utilize tools and technologies to enhance automated testing capabilities.
6. Identify and report defects, track issues, and work closely with developers to resolve them efficiently.
7. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality aspects of code.
8. Maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and technical specifications.
9. Research and implement industry best practices for software testing and automation.
10. Assist in performance testing and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
2. Strong programming skills on tech stacks: TypeScript, Java, SQL, Python, Node.js.
3. Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, API Automation, JUnit, TestNG).
4. Hands-on experience configuring jobs in Jenkins/UDeploy.
5. Ability to generate automation test results reports, analyze and present with stakeholders.
6. Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices for software development.
7. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
8. Hands-on experience testing applications on-premises & on cloud.
9. Additional benefit to have exposure to AWS cloud services – CloudWatch, SecretsManager, CloudDb, S3 Bucket, SQS, EC2, ECS Fargate.
10. Familiarity with RESTful API and SoapUI testing and tools such as Postman or similar.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
13. Experience with database testing and knowledge of SQL.
