Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing has multiple Administrative Assistant roles across the Houston area! We have temp, temp to hire, and direct hire opportunities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the office operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of daily activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a collaborative and thriving environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
  • Maintain contact lists and manage calendars for the team.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Coordinate office procedures and manage office supplies inventory.
  • Support team members with various administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related field.
  • 2+ years as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Pay Rate
  • $18-$21/hr
