Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices and ensuring accuracy of payment information.
- Maintaining vendor records and handling vendor inquiries.
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions and monitoring accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
- Assisting with month-end closing and financial reports.
- Supporting the finance team with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Hours:
The position requires full-time availability, Monday through Friday, with typical office hours.
