Requirements

• An associate's degree or equivalent experience in structural design, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of truss design experience
• Proficiency in truss design software
• Excellent understanding of building codes, structural principles, and load calculations

1st Shift | Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
Truss Designer Job Duties

• Create custom trusses for both residential and commercial projects.
• Work closely with our sales team, production staff, and clients to ensure that every truss meets design specifications, safety standards, and customer needs.
• Review architectural plans to ensure truss designs comply with building codes and structural requirements.
• Generate detailed truss drawings, material lists, and design calculations.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs can be efficiently and accurately built .
• Resolve design issues or challenges during production or construction.
• Stay updated on the latest truss design technology, industry trends, and local building codes.
• Ensure timely completion of designs and effectively communicate project timelines.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed.
