We have a client on the NW side of town with an SAP Data Governance Manager role. This would be direct hire and hybrid but the first few quarters will be more onsite supporting the S4 implementation.
No 3rd party submittals - Must be eligible for hire without sponsorship.
Initial focus will be on SAP data governance to support the S/4 implementation. Responsibilities will eventually expand to enterprise level.
- Priority on governance policies and procedures.
- Needs experience with best practices for sharing data with external third parties.
The Data Governance Manager will be accountable for data migration, governance, strategy, and cleansing deliverables and execution. The Data Governance Manager will also lead the data archive strategy including ERP archive, consolidation of various data sources, and retention.
Detailed Description:
- Responsible for resources, scope, timeline, and delivery of data and analytics workstream activities.
- Lead the development and execution of the enterprise data strategy and governance framework.
- Coordinates data analysts, data owners, and data migration teams to ensure alignment and progress.
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and team efficiency.
- Communicate challenges to key stakeholders as required and track status against established milestones.
- Drive status reporting and collaborate with Program leads to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate data owners across different initiatives and value streams to ensure consistency and data integrity.
Job Requirements:
- Possesses a strategic point of view on how effective data management enables business functions.
- Strong understanding of the costs, benefits, and impacts of data management within the organization.
- Demonstrated experience with data governance strategies and best practices for SAP S/4 HANA.
- Demonstrated experience with data governance strategies and best practices for sharing data with external third parties.
- Strong data and analytics acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
