SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description
Ÿ Accept project responsibility and organize projects to meet customer specifications and delivery constraints.
Ÿ Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project for those projects that you have been given to manage.
Ÿ Identify and organize the code required NDE inspections of ASME section VIII pressure vessels as manufacturing proceeds.
Ÿ Assisting Purchasing in defining scope and details for contracts to vendors.
Ÿ Assist Designers to create drawings and drawing layouts in Autodesk Inventor.
Ÿ Write purchase specifications for ASME components.
Ÿ Work with suppliers to organize and coordinate deliveries.
Ÿ Define stress analysis and fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis of pressure vessels in accordance with ASME codes.
Ÿ Direct designers to Develop drawings of geometric models to be used for FEA analysis.
Ÿ Work with FEA suppliers to generate stress results.
Ÿ Perform other Stress analysis using hand calculations or other appropriate means to create preliminary designs or to analyze any other mechanical systems as necessary.
Ÿ Proficient in preparing free-body diagrams and force balanced analysis (statics)
Ÿ Consolidate results into Code stress requirements in a formal report using MathCAD Prime or similar software.
Ÿ Perform heat transfer analysis on heat shields, pressure vessels, heating and cooling systems etc. for EPSI products. Heat transfer modeling and simulation.
Ÿ Perform thermodynamic analysis of various processes associated with EPSI products.
Ÿ Perform fluid flow and pressure drop calculations for various fluid flow systems.
Ÿ All miscellaneous Mechanical Engineering functions.
Ÿ Assist designers in sizing calculations of components to meet design parameters.
Ÿ Drawing checking and Bill of Material specification.
Ÿ Assisting Marketing in Sales efforts by preparing cost analysis of a proposed equipment design.
Ÿ Support of Sales and Marketing regarding any technical issues.
Job Requirements
Ÿ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Ÿ 5-7 years of relevant Engineering experience.
Ÿ Strong computer skills, MS Office, MathCad, Sage.
Ÿ Team focused mindset.
Ÿ Excellent organizational skills.
Ÿ Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
