Masis Professional Group has an immediate need for a Junior Financial Advisor for a highly reputable Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in the Calabasas, CA area on a full-time direct hire basis. Junior Financial Advisor Summary:

The Junior Financial Advisor will support one of the top senior advisors in all aspects of financial planning, asset gathering, research, and client relationship management. You will be actively involved in researching market trends, assisting with financial analyses, and helping clients make informed decisions regarding their financial goals. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and technical skills, as well as a strong work ethic and passion for helping clients achieve financial success. Junior Advisor Responsibilities:

• Assist in asset gathering efforts by identifying and prospecting potential clients.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on investments, financial markets, and client portfolios.
• Collaborate with senior advisors to develop tailored financial plans and investment strategies.
• Manage relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing communication and addressing inquiries as needed.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other client-facing documents.
• Assist with the preparation and review of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives.
• Support in the preparation of proposals, financial plans, and investment recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and financial market trends.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and proprietary software tools to analyze client data and prepare materials.
• Participate in client meetings, providing assistance as needed, and presenting research findings.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and portfolio information, ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.
• As you gain experience, work toward building your own book of business and transitioning into a full financial advisor role.

Junior Advisor Qualifications:

• Education: BS/BA in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 1-5 years of experience in financial services, asset gathering, research, and relationship management.
• Licensing: Series 65 license (required) and a clean U4 record.
• Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, etc.).
• Experience with financial planning software and CRM tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to proprietary computer programs and financial tools.
