Job Overview:

Our client, a global engineering firm based in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Bridge Inspector to collaborate with state agencies across the Tri-State area. This role focuses on conducting thorough bridge inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to project success with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection Execution: Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed inspections of bridges and related structures in accordance with FHWA and AASHTO guidelines, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, document deficiencies, and recommend necessary repairs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

? Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

? Licensure: P.E. License (New York State) – Required.

? Experience: 1-5+ years in bridge inspection or structural evaluation.

? Certifications: NBIS Certification (preferred).

? Technical Skills: Proficiency in inspection software/tools (e.g., BrIM, Bentley).

? Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

? Other: Familiarity with state/local agencies is a plus; ability to work in varying field conditions (heights, confined spaces, diverse weather).
