A growing manufacturing company in Spartanburg is seeking to hire an Operations Assistant to support operations and support the manager as well as travel. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, have an eagerness to learn, and open to traveling for client meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide right-hand support to manager and act as second-in-command in their absence
• Assist with operational support of the Upstate office
• Schedule meetings and team building sessions
• Answer questions of staff and stakeholders as needed
• Provide top notch customer support while maintaining vendor and client relationships
• Prepare and draft reports and presentations as needed
• Update logs and order forms
• Analyze operations and make suggestions for process improvement
• Travel with manager to various client meetings in the US

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• Ability and desire to travel estimated 2-3 weeks out of the month
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Willingness and eagerness to learn
• Open to travel around the country as required
• Previous internship or support experience is ideal
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule:

• Will sit in Union or Spartanburg office when not traveling, standard hours
• Monday through Friday
• Traveling most weeks out of state via flights but no weekends

Compensation:

• Starting at $50,000 salaried
