CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting new opportunity for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer in Chelmsford MA. This is a direct hire role for a busy, growing manufacturing company.

Responsible for all electronic manufacturing engineering development and implementation for production equipment such as Surface Mount circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses. Develops cost estimates for circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses. Standard labor time and costed bills of materials by evaluating customer’s documentation package.

Responsibilities:

• Resolves technical problems encountered during production process.
• Creates and maintains manufacturing visual aids and routings, bills of material, detailed assembly and inspection instructions and visual aids as required to process manufacturing order.
• Creates tooling and fixturing to facilitate production.
• Reviews engineering ECO packages for signoff.
• Reviews, approves and/or develops specifications for purchases.
• Reviews request for quotation ensuring information is complete statement of work, quantity, special instructions.
• Evaluates the estimated cost vs. the actual cost of past production orders and corrects routing times and BOM’s to reflect data accurately.

Qualifications:

Electronics Manufacturing background

Contract manufacturing a plus

Bachelors degree preferred but will consider experience
