Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and investment-related reports.
- Process and track accounts payable and receivable, including capital calls and distributions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in investment accounting, including valuation tracking and portfolio reconciliations.
- Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and investment teams on budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in investment management, private equity, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and investment accounting principles .
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or investment-specific platforms).
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
