Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
The Quality Engineer will work closely with a team of 2 to 3 other quality engineers to manage and complete manufacturing drawing review activities. This role ensures accuracy and conformance to current company engineering standards and provides guidance to design partners and detailers on best practices.

Task Breakdown:
- Work with a team of 2 to 3 quality engineers to manage and complete manufacturing drawing review activities.
- Coordinate with detailing team leaders on project priorities and due dates.
- Review engineering drawings for accuracy and conformance to current company engineering standards.
- Create clear and concise markup drawings for any areas of non-conformance.
- Coach design partners and detailers on best detailing practices.
Interaction with Team:
- Daily collaboration with peers and detailers to share best practices, troubleshoot problems, and discuss project scope questions.

Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (mechanical or manufacturing emphasis), Manufacturing, or Engineering Technology.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Master’s degree is acceptable.
Top 3 Skills:
- Strong background in manufacturing print reading.
- Strong knowledge and application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in applying engineering design principles.
Additional Technical Skills:

- Mechanical drafting using 3D parametric CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo).

- Hands-on experience with various manufacturing disciplines.
- Experience with the operation and/or maintenance of heavy equipment.

Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $22.00- $25.00 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
