A leading ship repair and manufacturing company is looking to hire a Senior Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting production efforts across their shipyard.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, in order to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for production projects.
• Review available plans and specifications to ensure estimate effort is in compliance
• Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in cost estimating.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in ship repair or steel fabrication
• Understanding of steel manufacturing processes and assembly
• Must have strong PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and project management skills.
