Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Process Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing customer account reviews, order releases, payment collections, and dispute resolution. You will leverage your credit risk analysis skills to set up new accounts, drive process efficiencies through insightful reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Accounts Receivable operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Evaluation & Order Management:
  • Assess customer creditworthiness and authorize pending order releases in collaboration with senior credit personnel.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on new and existing customer accounts using bank and trade references, financial statements, and industry reports.
  • Process Optimization & Automation:
  • Utilize existing technology to enhance credit process efficiency and automate tasks, including system functionality testing, documentation, and training.
  • Develop and implement reporting tools using internal and external data to improve credit processes.
  • Collections & Dispute Resolution:
  • Proactively manage payment collections and resolve account discrepancies for U.S. and Canadian accounts, maintaining optimal DSO levels.
  • Assist with credit memo validations and cash receipt automation.
  • Reporting & Collaboration:
  • Prepare monthly trade activity schedules for credit management review and distribution.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other teams to resolve account issues and understand business needs.
  • Support month-end and quarterly reporting.


Qualifications:


Minimum:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Credit and Collections.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency in AR systems, credit functions, and reporting tools.


Preferred:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP and FIS Get Paid systems.
