We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer with a minimum of six years in commercial real estate transactions to join our law firm. This is a great opportunity to represent developers and investors in ground-up developments, property conversions, and rehabilitation projects.

Real Estate Attorney Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up and rehabilitation development projects, including reviewing and interpreting environmental assessment reports.
• Draft and review Purchase Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, and easements.
• Review and interpret complex Title Commitments.
• Draft and negotiate construction contracts, including AIA forms.
• Review and interpret municipal ordinances and take municipal projects from introduction to approval.
• Obtain variances, rezonings, and conditional use permits for municipal projects.
• Work with a team to apply for and secure economic incentives.

Real Estate Attorney Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, with substantial experience in ground-up developments and property rehabilitation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• A book of business is preferred but not required.
