Summary: Aegis is looking for a Millwright for a client of ours in Portage IN.
- 3+ years of industrial experience as a millwright
- Industry experience- HEAVY, within a steel manufacturing plant ideally but, if not that- then a machine shop, or similar industry. Please try and avoid heavily regulated companies- chemicals, food/bev. If they have some of this in the background matched with heavier industry please still how me!
- Able to read blueprints & schematics
- Burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing, combustion, mechanical systems, troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Stick welding
- Pipe welding experience
- Able to use and read with precision measuring tools- tape measure, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, surface plates, CMM.
- Able to be on high ladders, climb those, and get in tight corners if needed
- Safety oriented person!
- Any advanced hydraulic experience would be a plus
- Able to jump in as needed and wear many hats
