Job Responsibilities

• Create, implement, plan, and execute internal quality audits in adherence to established procedures and audit plans
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and verifies the audit's resulting actions are implemented and effective
• Revise, refine, update, and recommend changes to policies and procedures
• Facilitate the creation of audit checklist
• Assist team with the issuance of quality corrective actions that prevent recurrence by performing root cause analysis and risk mitigation, and assuring objective evidence adequately supports the audit results
• Represent Quality and supports the team at audit and corrective action meetings and discussions.
• Review corrective action submittals for acceptance and compliance
• Track, record, analyze and maintain trending data and submit reports as required
• Communicate and present audit issues and progress reports to management
• Prepare audit presentation material detailing, audit findings, and conclusions reached as well as recommendations
• Perform quality-related activities that add strategic value to the business such as participation in process and procedural development activities, continuous improvement actions, process mapping and streamlining, and contractual program verification
• Participate in scheduled management reviews and brief as required to the Senior Leadership

Job Qualifications

• Auditing experience in a manufacturing environment
• ASQ American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ISO Lead Auditor certification, or Exemplar Global Certification
• Experience as ISO-9001 auditor
