Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. The engineer must be able to produce documents in Revit experience is a plus but not mandatory AutoCAD is a must.

Market sector experience in K-12 Schools, Higher Ed, Commercial, and Healthcare is desire

Experience in design of power and lighting systems for buildings. Ability to work well with others within and outside the company.

Description

A Staff role is a designer with a strong foundation of design. This person should be able to take on independent tasks for design up to full design of small projects to be reviewed by others. This person still takes direction for most tasks and works closely with the Project Manager and Lead role.


Requirements

RESPONSIBILITY TO OTHERS

Able to make design decisions on specific design tasks assigned by the Lead or Project Manager

Work to make decisions on design aspects of a project with the Project Team

Responsible to notify the Project Manager of any major changes in project scope

Responsible to coordinate design work with other internal disciplines


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+ years experience

Proficient in the use of current technology, including hardware and software applications

General knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems

Staff Engineer

Bachelor of Science from an accredited technical University in mechanical or electrical engineering and the completion of the Professional Engineering License exam

Staff Designer

Bachelor of Science from an accredited technical University in mechanical or electrical engineering OR Technical or associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in the engineering design areas of HVAC, plumbing or electricity
