This individual will perform analysis of security events received through native platforms, third party, or internal reporting sources. The IT Security Engineer will have technical ownership with current or future solution providers, and work closely with Governance Risk and Compliance team to provide analysis of external, and internal risk assessments.nnWHAT YOU’LL DOnnThis position will focus on management of a suite of IT security tools inclusive of Threat Intelligence Platforms, Attack Surface Management, and Vulnerability Management, providing controls that support our security policies.nnUtilize automation tools to analyze threat information provided from multiple tools to verify, alert and respond to potential risks to CMG.nnEvangelize IT security fundamentals, tools, processes, and act as a consultative partner with IT and Business teams.nnPerforms IT security assessments and remediation activities as part of the IT security organization and ensures CMG teams adhere to the NIST Framework.nnProvide security guidance through project participation, working cross functionally with all departments which have security impacts to CMG.nnGuide and perform security activities including vulnerability testing and analysis, design and implementation of new solutions/features and investigation into security events.nnMake recommendations on toolset and process modifications and make improvements within production IT Security support.nnParticipate in documentation and adherence to Security Policies and Operating Procedures.nnParticipate as a key member in security incident response activities as well as daily Security Operational tasks.nnWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLEnnB.S. degree in Information Technology, a related field, and/or equivalent experience and training preferred.nn3-5 years of experience in IT Security Engineering or similar field.nnRelevant trainings and certifications preferred (CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, etc.).nnFunctional knowledge of event logging, parsing and orchestration.nnStrong communication and relationship building skills.nnSkilled at performing IT security focused application/environment design reviews.nnExperience using common security testing tools and techniques to perform a variety of security assessments across multiple platforms with significant expertise in either web or mobile penetration testing.nnKnowledgeable regarding incorporating security requirements into a SDLC.nnDesign and implementation experience in Security solutions.nnExperience in technical writing, and ability to present information.nnPAY TRANSPARENCYnnA reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $111,000.00–$154,500.00.
