Foster Lawson are partnered with a rapidly growing player in the Food space who are looking to add a Maintenance Manager to their largest facility in Franklin County, PA.
The ideal candidate will have maintenance leadership experience for a company in the Food and Beverage space, as well as a 'hands-on' approach to maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to maintain continuous production.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the maintenance team to enhance their skills and ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and food industry regulations, such as OSHA and FDA guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality repairs and equipment upkeep.
- Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and consumables to prevent delays in repairs.
- Work closely with production managers to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production.
- Plan and oversee the installation of new equipment and recommend upgrades to existing machinery to improve efficiency.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors for service agreements, parts procurement, and external maintenance support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to increase equipment performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Food & Beverage experience
- 5+ years of Maintenance leadership experience in a Manufacturing facility
